This month’s spotlight belongs to Vancouver-based artist Lisa Ochowycz. Her work has been featured widely internationally, including a recent solo exhibit in Basel, and as nearby as the Lions Bay project I hinted at earlier! (Okay, here’s another peek…)
In addition to Lisa’s bright spirit, we love the depth, dimension, and feeling that her work evokes. Her pieces add emotion to spaces, invite contemplation, and are sure to stir up engaging conversations.
Lisa’s paintings also portray a strong sense of British Columbia’s moody climate and dramatic landscapes, as she captures ocean, forests, and mountains in abstract forms.
If Lisa’s work inspires you as much as it does us, you can browse her works online, stop by her studio, or reach out to us about designing a space with art at its heart.
