Coastal Views Home

In this expansive seaside home, we brought warmth and flow to the large open rooms, while keeping the focus on the stunning coastal views.
The Great Room’s existing fireplace was our starting point for the space’s colour scheme. Inspired by the violet undertones in its stone façade, we incorporated shades of purple in the twin armchairs, textiles and accessories to bring visual interest.
The room needed to accommodate large family gatherings so we went with an uncluttered floor plan that gives grandchildren ample room to spread out and play.
In the kitchen we changed the perimeter cabinets to a soft white and installed a custom, reflective moorish glass tile backsplash in the same colour. We kept the island as it was and referenced its darker colour in the bronze pendant lights and perimeter hardware.
The dining area was another big priority for our clients, who host weekly family dinners for 14 people. We replaced their round table with a custom expandable one that better complements the shapes of the farmhouse-style kitchen.

“Lori is extremely organized, very businesslike and very creative. On the final reveal day I was blown away! The vision I had in my mind lay before me as I opened the door. I could not stop smiling. It was everything I wanted and more.”
