How Our Design Fees Are Structured
One of the most common questions we receive is how our design fees are structured. Our approach is designed to feel clear and supportive, so you always understand what to expect as your project moves forward.
Flat Fee: We begin with a flat fee that covers the early stages of the process, including your Design Discovery Session. If you choose to move forward, this also includes a virtual contract review where we walk you through each step in detail. The design phase is also structured as a flat fee, based on a clearly defined scope of work, and includes one round of revisions to ensure everything feels aligned before moving ahead.
Procurement and Project Management Fee: As your project moves into implementation, a procurement and project management fee is applied. This is calculated as a percentage of the preferred pricing we’re able to offer through our trusted vendors. It allows us to manage every detail on your behalf — from ordering and tracking to coordinating with trades — so the entire process feels seamless and handled.
Hourly Rate: The final stage includes installation and any remaining details, which are billed on an hourly basis. Because this phase can vary, this approach ensures you are only billed for the time required to complete your home with care and attention.
This layered structure allows each phase of your project to be thoughtfully supported, while giving you clarity and confidence in how your investment is applied.
